Deckers Opened 4 New Stores in 2009!

Deckers Outdoor Corporation is headquartered in Goleta, CA, a small coastal community along the central California coastline and located close to the University of California, Santa Barbara.

It is there, as a UCSB student, that Doug Otto, Chairman, began producing sandals in 1973. Since then, Deckers has grown into an international company with three footwear brands - Teva, Simple and UGG® Australia. Deckers products enjoy a high level of brand name recognition and consumer appeal by combining functional and creative designs with quality materials and construction.

In spite of a weak economy, Deckers has experienced success this year, opening four new stores including two international stores. They've opened stores in:

Honolulu, HI
Manchester, United Kingdom
Tokyo, Japan
